How the Bracket Challenge works
Once the postseason is seeded, you get one shot to fill out the whole 16-team bracket: pick a winner for every Wild Card series, then every Divisional series, then every Conference series, then the Championship — picking from the teams you yourself advanced in earlier rounds.
The bracket re-seeds after the Wild Card round, same as the real thing: the best seed you have left plays the worst seed you have left. So your Divisional matchups depend on your own Wild Card picks.
Submit once and it's locked in — no edits, and picks close the moment the first Wild Card game is actually played.
Scoring goes up by round: 1 point for every team you picked that really wins its Wild Card series, 2 for every Divisional winner you called, 4 per Conference champ, 8 for the champion. A pick scores even if the real matchup isn't the one you drew up — all that counts is that your team won that round. If a team you advanced loses for real, it can't score for you after that.
